Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Budgeting:
– Drive the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
– Ensuring detailed business reporting with in-depth analysis on trends
– Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on a future path to be taken.
Accounting and Financial Processes:
– Demonstrate ability and skill in handling overall accounting function
– Support month end and year end closing processes
– Provide guidance on preparation of cash flows and implementation of fund tracking system
– Ensure timely updating of books of accounts complying with statutory and internal norms
MIS and Reporting:
– Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
– Lead the financial MIS department
Audits and compliances:
– Oversee all audit and internal control operations
– Handle statutory/internal / tax audits from time to time.
– Ensure compliances with all statutory regulation and requirements to GST/ Service Tax/
TDS/Income Tax
– Ensure compliance with organizational policies
– Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
