Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES :

– Handling overall logistics operations on PAN India basis.
– Involving negotiation of inbound / out bound contracts with transport & shipping companies and
other external agencies to achieve seamless & cost-effective transport solutions;
– Managing operations of cross functional units to achieve efficiency in all aspects of the
customer service delivery cycle, ensuring timely delivery of products.
– Planning, directing and maintaining efficient Warehouse Operations
– Cost Optimization related to logistics and warehousing operations.
– Setting up challenging logistics targets & drive the team towards achievement.
– Continuous improvements in SAP Business processes related to Logistics & Warehousing.
– Coordination between Multiple Plants.

SKILLS:

– Good in Planning, Co-ordination, Communication and Execution.
– Man management & good interpersonal skills.
– Operational knowledge in SAP Module.
– Cost Reduction.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

Reporting to the Head – Supply Chain & Sourcing.
An graduate in Engineering with a post-graduation in Supply Chain Management from a reputed
organization.
