Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for the Project Planning & Scheduling, Progress reporting & co-ordination, resource allocation & monitoring etc. in the region.

  • Responsible for Ensuring PMPs/PEPs, MCPs, TCPs, Logistics Plans, Resource (3Ms) Histograms, S-Curves & other documents as required for new projects (Network Programmes in MSP or Primavera).
  • Tender/Proposal-stage Schedules and Technical Submissions.
  • Organize and conduct weekly project review meetings at RO, interact and review performance of the projects in the region with all RO HODs. Follow up with concerned functions at Site/RO/HO for timely resolution of open issues.
  • Review of tracked MCPs/TCPs on fortnightly/monthly basis and report the deviations/delays. Compile tracked schedules for all projects in the region and send to HO on 4th of subsequent month.
  • Periodical visits to the sites based on criticality and underperformance. Periodic monitoring of critical projects as identified by HO, w.r.t. parameters such as revenue, IDC, physical progress and key bottlenecks and apprising the same to HO monthly.
  • Ensure that CTC projections provided by site planning team are in line with the latest tracked programme and end dates as per CTC projections and tracked programme must be the same.
  • Follow Up with Design Team on D & B projects based on escalation matrix, etc.
  • Resource Scheduling, Loading, Monitoring and Productivity Analysis.
  • Coordination with Site Planning Team for Formwork utilization reports, Formwork surplus & demobilization report, Material Reconciliation Reports, etc.
  • Coordination with Procurement/Commercial Departments for timely appointment of vendors, Review subcontractor schedules and follow up with Site Planning Team.
  • BIM Implementation for complex and critical projects – Visuals, 3D views for better understanding of complex structures, client presentations, etc., Quantity take Off and Progress Tracking/Demonstrations, Early detection of clashes/conflicts, in particular on MEP services and realign them in coordination with design team.
  • Implementation of Earned Value Management, monthly monitoring and generation of EVM dashboards.
  • Productivity monitoring implementation and send data to HO every week (either by PnP reports or standalone) and Planning dashboard monitoring.
  • Conduct standardized training programme for planning personnel as part of Job orientation and as and when required. Ensure all planning personnel get trained with standardized curriculum.
