Roles and Responsibilities

Essential responsibilities and duties

The role of a Plant Maintenance- Assistant Manager is to participate in the Preventive maintenance
improvement activities in plant machines, utilities, Firefighting system and WTP and RO plant.

The main missions of the role are to:

Focus on planning, scheduling weekly preventive activities

On time closure of open preventive actions

Coordinate both repair and preventive maintenance requirements for all manufacturing equipment,
analyses repeated issue and closure.

Should have 33KV C license with CEIG license process of APSPDCL.

Identify and develop standards for equipment repair, set up and operation

Maintain and monitor all machine critical spares, maintain store inventory.

Maintaining all documents related to IATF16949.

Participate in Production System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support
continuous improvement: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency, and quality
improvement actions for all facilities

Facilitate in equipment movement and installation.

Define and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies during AMC
such as DG, AC, Crane, Compressor, Screwdriver and Firefighting system.

Recommend safety policies and assure safety controls are tested and reliable

Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance

Qualifications

Theideal candidatewill have/be:

BE Electrical / Mechanical with 8 to 10years experience.

Diploma Electrical / Mechanical with 12 to 14 years of experience.
